Activities
Walking and Hiking
The Tatra National Park has many fantastic walking trails. Within the park there are
well marked trails which are easy to follow and, show the approximate times of the walks.
The nearest entrance points are only a few minutes away. Outside the Park, the best walks
are in the Koscielisko valley. Try taking the cable car to the top of Gubalowka and walking
back to the apartment.
Skiing and Snowboarding
There are 6 separate ski areas in Zakopane. Ski hire is available at or close by each area.

- There is a Ski jumping complex in Br. Czecha.
- Ice skating
- There is an ice skating rink on the Sports Centre premises with
skate hire and a bar.
The Town of Zakopane
